I like to build things outside of school. Here are some notable projects.

A Django web app for RE-volv, a non-profit dedicated to crowd-funded solar energy projects. Developed pro bono with my Blueprint teammates, a UC Berkeley student organization that uses technology for social good.

A D3.js + Angular web app for visualizing and understanding the Alpha-Beta Pruning algorithm. Generates random trees, giving students unlimited practice problems that they can check against. Proved to be quite helpful for UC Berkeley’s CS61B.

An Android application for working with resistor values. It’s simple, small, and user-friendly. This was my first mobile project, as well as my first Java project. The app is free on the Google Play Store.

  • Developing for Stripe’s credit card payment authorization, clearing, and settlement systems.
Identity Team InternSummer 2015
  • Launched new, secure OpenID authentication portal. Designed and implemented standalone Golang tools for configs and i18n.
Language Technology Team InternSummer 2014
  • Analyzed large data sets of out-of-vocabularies (OOVs) in translation requests; developed web interface to flag and eliminate OOVs.
